The newly developed Matta Pelvic Set is designed for the most common indications in surgical treatment of pelvic and acetabular fractures.
The extremely complex anatomy of the pelvic bone, particulary the acetabular region, requires perfect anatomical reduction if good functional and durable results are to be achieved. The shape, material properties, plate malleability and hole spacing of the plates take into account the current demands from clinical physicians for sufficient fatigue strength, optimized transfer of loading forces, and a standardized operative technique with broad applicability.
